Job summary

Quarriers in Glasgow seeks a dedicated Family Wellbeing Worker to join North West Carers Service. You will identify and coordinate support for unpaid carers, develop Carer Support Plans to promote wellbeing, and work across home, office and community settings.

The role is temporary for 12 months with potential extension subject to funding. Working hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with carers support services and wellbeing initiatives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to build trusting relationships and communicate effectively.
• Organised, flexible and able to work across venues.
• Knowledge of unpaid carers and related legislation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate support for unpaid carers in North West Glasgow.
• Develop Adult Carer Support Plans to promote wellbeing.
• Plan and prioritise own workload; travel to locations.
• Attend group work and lead sessions.
• Collaborate with teams and organisations to improve wellbeing.
