Job summary

Delta Capita is seeking an Associate for the Global Middle Office, Structured Rates in London on a temporary contract. You will deliver trade management, first-line support to Exotic Rates desks, and lifecycle management of bespoke trades, working with Front Office and Risk to ensure robust controls.

You will build deep product knowledge, support governance frameworks, and drive process improvements while coordinating with GMO teams onshore and offshore. Hybrid work is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured derivatives in at least one asset class.
• Experience in a middle office or equivalent control function.
• Strong understanding of investment banking products and processes, with attention to detail.
• Ability to balance competing demands and drive process changes.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide trade management and first-line support to Exotic Rates trading and structuring desks.
• Carry out structured deal reviews and manage lifecycle of bespoke trades.
• Resolve queries and perform reconciliations promptly and accurately.
• Build and maintain understanding of bespoke and structured products and their control requirements.
• Produce the T0 flash P&L for the desks supported.
• Partner with Front Office, Risk, Finance, IT and Operations to ensure policies and controls are implemented.
