Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician for a busy main dealership in Maidstone. You will service, diagnose, and repair vehicles, with access to modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer training.

The role offers a £37,000 base salary plus bonus, with OTE £43,000+. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, in a permanent full-time position.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent IMI/City & Guilds.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Service Technician.
• Experience in main dealership or independent garage environments.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Mansioni

• Carry out servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete authorised mechanical repairs and warranty work.
• Road test vehicles to verify repair success and document results.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop and accurate job cards.
