Job summary

Blakedown Landscapes is recruiting an Estimator to support a growing team and to prepare and submit tender packages from £100k up to £5million. The role involves measuring PDF drawings, pricing bills of quantities in Excel, and coordinating with the Commercial Director.

You will attend meetings and site visits, liaise with clients and design teams, and identify risks in the tender process. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement with the Head Office in Chobham, Surrey, and requires

Qualifications

• Estimating experience within the landscape/construction industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player with a positive attitude towards challenges.
• Clear and concise communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Measuring PDF drawings and producing tender documents.
• Helping the full Bid Submission process.
• Pricing bill of quantities, generally in Excel format.
• Identifying areas of risk during the tender process and liaising with Directors.
• Attending meetings and site visits.
• Communicating with client and design team during tender and pre-start meetings.
