Job summary

Blakedown Landscapes is recruiting an Estimator to support a growing team and to prepare and submit tender packages from £100k up to £5million. The role involves measuring PDF drawings, pricing bills of quantities in Excel, and coordinating with the Commercial Director.

You will attend meetings and site visits, liaise with clients and design teams, and identify risks in the tender process. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement with the Head Office in Chobham, Surrey, and requires

Blakedown Landscapes is an award-winning landscaping and civil engineering specialist delivering high quality projects throughout the UK. Our portfolio spans all sectors from local authorities, royal parks, commercial developers, schools and universities to high-end luxury developers. Much of our work is as a result of long-term relationships based on trust and expert workmanship built up over more than five decades.

Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting an Estimator to work without a growing team. The position can be hybrid with a mix of working from home and our Head Office in Chobham, Surrey. The position will involve working with the Commercial Director preparing and submitting Tender Packages from £100k up to £5million. The projects involve Blakedown working as the Main Contractor on a mixture of high quality hard and soft landscaping schemes.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in an estimating role who has the ability to work in a methodical manner, often under time restraints, whilst maintaining highly accurate attention to detail is key.

The Role:

• Measuring PDF drawings and producing tender documents.
• Helping the full Bid Submission
