Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking an Engineer to work across MBDA UK product portfolios, performing sophisticated analyses and supporting lab and field trials. Salary up to £55,000, located in Stevenage with hybrid working typically 4 days on-site.

BPSS security clearance required for British citizenship or dual UK national status. The Trials and Analysis team under Environmental Engineering leads data evaluation, modelling, and testing across lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Excellent investigative instinct and decision making attributes.
• Experience analysing vehicle/missile operations in complex environments.
• Instrumentation and signal processing experience helpful.
• Vibration, shock and thermal analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply specialist technical knowledge to complex systems and provide data evaluation delivery.
• Collaborate with customers on data gathering trials and assessments.
• Ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery of high-quality results.
• Carry out technical evaluations and reports with recommendations for problems attributed to shock and vibration.
• Develop test specifications for vibration, shock and signal evaluation.
