Job summary

MBDA is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer in the UK to work across multiple functions, developing environmental requirements and managing proving strategies throughout the product lifecycle. The role involves close collaboration with systems engineering, design and proving teams to deliver environmental test programmes and support in-service activities.

You will serve as a technical focal point, ensuring timely delivery of packages, testing, and certification while aligning with EE&F

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent experience in environmental engineering.
• Experience planning and delivering small to medium work packages.
• Knowledge of environmental engineering within the defence sector or relevant industry.
• Knowledge of vibration, shock, temperature and humidity environments.
• Understanding of environmental test processes and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Generate environmental requirements and support robust product designs.
• Define and manage cost-effective proving strategies through the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate with project and test engineers to deliver environmental test programmes.
• Act as technical interface with customers to plan and monitor work packages.
