Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Domain Architect – Digital Backbone and Digital Employee Experience to own the target architecture, long-term roadmap and investment story for platforms relied on by the business. You’ll set direction, assure delivery and influence governance across domains and teams.

This role operates with a flexible hybrid model, requiring purposeful site visits for design workshops and stakeholder sessions, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture UK.

Qualifications

• Domain depth in hosting, datacentre, networking or cloud.
• Multi-year technology roadmap ownership with funded delivery.
• Fluency in architecture methods and artefacts (TOGAF/ArchiMate).
• Evidence-based judgement from risk, demand and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Own the target state for both domains and convert it into a funded multi-year roadmap.
• Assure delivery against the roadmap and align architecture with governance.
• Lead architecture governance forums and provide high-level design approval.
• Mentor and guide Solution and Technical Architects across the portfolio.
• Run a domain architecture community of practice and develop design libraries.
