Job summary

Myn is recruiting an Engineering Manager in London to lead and develop a team responsible for business-critical software and digital platforms. You will work closely with Product, Architecture, Platform and other technology leaders to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.

You will create an environment where engineers can perform at their best by removing blockers, improving practices and developing people while maintaining product delivery momentum.

London | Hybrid Myn is recruiting for a technology-led financial services organisation and is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team responsible for business-critical software and digital platforms.

Engineering Manager

We're looking for someone who combines strong people leadership with genuine technical credibility. You don't need to be writing production code every day, but you should understand modern software engineering well enough to challenge decisions, support senior engineers and help teams deliver better technology.

The role

You'll take responsibility for the performance, development and delivery of an engineering team, working closely with Product, Architecture, Platform and other technology leaders.

A major part of the role will be creating an environment where engineers can perform at their best. That means removing blockers, improving engineering practices, developing people and making sure technical quality isn't sacrificed for short-term delivery.

You’ll also help shape technical direction, support architectural discussions and contribute to wider engineering initiatives.
