Kingfisher plc is hiring an Engineering Operations Support Specialist to help keep Engineering teams efficient by ensuring data accuracy, governance, and streamlined processes. You will partner with Engineering leaders and stakeholders to deliver practical, data-driven solutions that support key business activities.

The role supports data quality, automation, and continuous improvement, with hybrid work in Southampton or Paddington and periodic office presence.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in an engineering or technical environment is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Basic SQL skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate engineering data and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Provide day-to-day operational support across engineering processes.
• Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and SharePoint content.
• Assist with troubleshooting and tool adoption.
• Coordinate engineering events and town halls.
• Support knowledge transfer and cross-training across teams.
• Develop reporting capabilities using AI and Power Platform.
• Support planning and execution of engineering activities.
