Job summary

Hampshire County Council is recruiting a Participation & Partnership Engagement Officer (SEND Reform) in Winchester. You will lead parent and carer participation, co‑production and engagement activities, shaping services and decisions within the SEND Reform programme.

Working with the SEND Partnerships and Strategy Team, you will gather insights, build partnerships with the Hampshire Parent Carer Network and other partners, and translate lived experience into concrete recommendations for service

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering participation, engagement, consultation or co-production with families or service users.
• Strong relationship skills to work across organisations and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to run workshops and events that enable meaningful contribution.
• Ability to turn feedback into practical recommendations for the SEND Reform programme.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate parent and carer participation and co-production activities.
• Build relationships with networks and partner agencies to strengthen engagement.
• Design and facilitate engagement activities and events for diverse families.
• Gather and analyse engagement insight and translate into recommendations.
• Lead the Coram Parent Champion Programme and support wider participation.
• Occasional evening/weekend work to support groups.
