EDT in Sunderland is seeking an Employment Specialist to deliver person-centred employment support to individuals with health conditions, disabilities, and complex barriers to work. The role uses a Supported Employment model and requires travel across the Sunderland area.

You will manage a caseload of 20–25 participants, collaborate with Jobcentre Plus, local employers, NHS and social care services, and other organisations to create pathways into paid work and sustained outcomes.

Qualifications

• The role delivers person-centred employment support to individuals with health conditions, disabilities and complex barriers to work.
• Uses a Supported Employment model (IPS or SEQF).
• Travelling across the Sunderland area is required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver a programme of employment support to participants.
• Collaborate with Jobcentre Plus, local employers, NHS and social care services, refugee organisations and other stakeholders.
• Manage a caseload of 20–25 individuals and ensure sustainable job outcomes.
