Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join the Advice Service team. You will provide front-line ER policy and process advice to managers, handle conduct and capability cases, and coach managers in people management.

The role emphasizes GDPR-compliant records and up-to-date Employment Law knowledge. The base location is hybrid in Reading, with a 36-hour week and a 4- to 6-month fixed-term/secondment arrangement.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of People policies and procedures.
• Experience of ER advisory services.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line ER advisory service to managers across the business.
• Manage conduct, capability and other ER issues including investigations.
• Coach managers on people management, fairness and consistent application.
• Maintain GDPR-compliant case records.
• Keep Employment Law knowledge up to date.
