Job summary

James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting an ER Advisor for a three-month temporary contract in Birmingham. The role is four days on-site with one day from home, offering 37.5 hours per week at a rate of £22 per hour via Umbrella.

You will handle employee relations caseloads and provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters in line with policy. The ideal candidate will have ER casework experience, an enhanced DBS check, and CIPD Level 5 qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience handling employee relations casework and advisory support.
• Knowledge of policy and employment legislation in practice.
• Ability to coach managers on disciplinary and grievance matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied employee relations caseload from query to resolution.
• Advise managers and staff on disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability issues.
• Support absence cases and outline next steps as needed.
• Ensure casework is recorded accurately and complies with policy.
