Job summary

Light & Wonder, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer in Chadderton, UK, to design high-quality PCB hardware and embedded software across the product lifecycle. You will create schematics, BOMs, Gerbers, and documentation while debugging complex boards and ensuring EMC and signal integrity compliance.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to production, manage components lifecycle, and contribute to cost-effective, manufacturable designs in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/D in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience designing PCB-based electronic systems.
• Hands-on PCB and embedded design experience with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality PCB, electronic, and electromechanical solutions.
• Develop digital and analogue circuits, including MCUs and power regulation.
• Create and maintain schematics, BOMs, Gerbers, and records.
• Develop firmware for microcontrollers and troubleshoot interfaces like USB/Ethernet/I2C/SPI.
