Proactive Global is seeking an Electrical Systems Modelling Engineer to model, simulate and validate electrical systems for future airborne platforms. Hybrid role based in Derby or Bristol (3 days in office / 2 days home), working within a team of simulation experts.

You will develop models, analyse power networks, support integration and report findings. A degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and strong MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape experience are required, along with SC clearance

Qualifications

• Experience modelling electrical power generation, distribution or control systems.
• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or similar.
• Strong experience using MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape.
• Ability to make engineering assumptions and interpret simulation results.
• Eligible for SC Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Develop electrical system models and simulations to support design decisions.
• Analyse electrical networks, power quality, voltage stability, protection, fault behaviour.
• Support system integration through modelling and analysis.
• Validate system performance and support HV software verification.
• Develop modelling methods and best practices.
• Produce technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
