Proactive Global is seeking an Electrical Systems Modelling and Simulation Engineer in the UK, with hybrid working options (Derby or Bristol). You will model, simulate and validate electrical systems for advanced defence technologies, powering future airborne platforms and supporting design, integration and verification activities.
The role requires hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape, a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and eligibility for SC clearance.
Role: Electrical Systems Modelling and Simulation Engineer
Location: Derby or Bristol - 3 days in office / 2 days work from home
Rate: Umbrella: £98 per hour / PAYE: £82.70 per hour
Duration: 12 months with the likelihood of extending
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Working within a team of simulation experts, the Electrical System Modelling & Simulation Engineer will support the design, integration and validation of complex electrical systems through advanced modelling, simulation and analysis.
