Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking experienced healthcare professionals for Disability Assessor roles across England. You will use clinical knowledge to assess how conditions affect daily living and work, conducting telephone, video and in-person assessments.

The position offers hybrid working, a Monday–Friday schedule, starting salary around £50,000 with increases after 12 months and a potential bonus scheme. Training is provided to develop functional assessment skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration for healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Excellent report-writing and typing skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video and face-to-face assessments.
• Explore how health conditions affect daily activities and work.
• Review medical evidence and health questionnaires.
• Ask detailed questions about functional ability.
• Produce clear, accurate and objective reports for the DWP.
• Make recommendations based on assessment findings.
