Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Disability Assessor in Reading with a base salary of £47,000, rising by £1,000 at 6/12 months based on performance. The role is full-time hybrid (Mon-Fri, 9-5) with a part-time option over 3/4 days.

The position requires registered nurses, OTs, physios, paramedics, or pharmacists, with at least 1 year post-registration experience. Full UK work rights, and strong report-writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with NMC/HCPC/GPHC.
• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• Excellent written communication and objective report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct disability assessments via telephone or face-to-face appointments.
• Evaluate a wide range of physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions.
• Review medical evidence and gather clinical histories.
• Produce clear medical reports to support entitlement decisions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and use modern systems to document findings.
