Job summary

Based at Lyneham, near Chippenham in Wiltshire, Babcock is seeking a Digital Learning Advisor to shape defence training in a modern, digital world. The role blends remote and onsite delivery, working with course designers, SMEs and media teams to create engaging, accessible learning that meets defence standards.

You will gain exposure to complex programmes, develop digital learning expertise, and build a long-term career within a trusted defence organisation. Hybrid pattern and 37 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a virtual learning environment, preferably Moodle.
• Experience in learning and development or pedagogical practice.
• Technical understanding of digital learning technologies and tools.
• Experience training individuals or groups on new technologies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the effective use of technology within blended learning design.
• Work closely with course designers, media teams, and subject matter experts.
• Support, review, and quality check virtual learning environment content.
• Ensure learning design aligns with Defence Systems Approach to Training and JSP 822.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement in digital learning solutions.
