Job summary

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead design, development, and delivery of secure solutions in a mixed cloud and on‑premise environment. You will drive automation, IaC, and scalable architectures while aligning with security requirements.

You will mentor a team of engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure operational integrity across platforms and releases. This role emphasizes security, performance, and timely delivery in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building secure, scalable DevOps solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud and on-premises environments.
• Experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support cloud and on-prem solutions across AWS and on‑prem environments.
• Develop infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalents.
• Build secure, scalable solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
• Translate designs into actionable deliverables and manage release timelines.
• Lead incident resolution and partner with security teams for preventative measures.
• Mentor and manage a team of engineers to maintain high morale and productivity.
