Job summary

Qualifications

• Evidence of automation, CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
• Experience configuring cloud platforms and containers.
• Understanding of security throughout development and operations.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and maintaining automation for integration, testing, deployment and operation of software and infrastructure.
• Developing and improving continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Creating repeatable ways to configure, deploy, scale and manage workloads.
• Building and maintaining public or private cloud environments.
• Deploying and operating containerised applications and orchestration platforms.
• Applying configuration management and source-control practices to infrastructure and deployments.
• Configuring, hardening and maintaining operating systems and infrastructure.
• Using scripting to remove repetitive work and improve delivery reliability.
• Diagnosing issues across infrastructure, applications and databases with specialists.
• Embedding security throughout development and operations and monitoring.
• Supporting capabilities in operational environments through monitoring and incident management.
• Applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to improve availability and resilience.
• Producing architecture and technical documentation using patterns and frameworks.
• Collaborating in an Agile team and sharing knowledge across disciplines.
