Talk Recruitment is seeking a Design Manager or Senior Design Manager for Exeter and regional projects. The role oversees design across preconstruction and delivery, coordinating consultants and specialist sub-contractors, and aligning with development and delivery teams.

Candidates should have experience in the building sector, main contractor exposure, and strong communication. The role supports a hybrid working arrangement with long term regional public sector projects.

Competenze

• Knowledge of building sector requirements and standards.
• Strong communication skills at all project levels.
• Experience coordinating and managing consultants on design.
• Experience managing design process across preconstruction and delivery stages.

Mansioni

• Lead design management across multiple sectors on preconstruction and construction stages.
• Appoint and manage consultants and specialist sub-contractors; coordinate with commercial teams.
• Identify design solutions, manage design risks and opportunities to support pipeline and delivery.
