Farnell, an Avnet company, is a global high-service distributor of technology products and solutions. We are seeking a Demand Planner in Leeds to own forecasting and inventory planning decisions that impact product availability and customer satisfaction across a global portfolio.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Purchasing and Operations, using data and insight to drive optimal stock levels while supporting continuous improvement across the planning function.

Qualifications

• Experience in forecasting, inventory planning and supply chain disciplines including DRP and MRP principles.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; confident with PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Developing and maintaining demand forecasts across the product portfolio.
• Monitoring demand trends, forecast performance and inventory health.
• Optimising planning parameters to balance customer service, availability and inventory investment.
• Supporting the S&OP process through analysis and insight.
• Partner with Product Management to execute inventory strategies that support margin growth.
• Identify stock investment opportunities and availability gaps, and optimise PO scheduling.
