Job summary

Vax in Droitwich is seeking a proactive Demand Planner with 1–3 years of experience in forecasting and supply chain. You will shape demand forecasts, analyse trends and collaborate with Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance to support stock planning and business objectives.

You will work on a hybrid basis, spending 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home, and you'll engage with stakeholders at all levels to challenge assumptions and drive improvements in forecasting processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain or analytical sales role
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills with ability to identify trends
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management with confidence to challenge and influence decisions
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of demand, sales and stock impact
• Highly organised and proactive in driving improvements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and review demand forecasts using historical data, current trends and commercial insights
• Analyse sales performance and forecast biases to identify risks and opportunities
• Collaborate with Commercial teams on promotions, launches and market changes
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Finance to align forecasts with stock and business goals
• Challenge forecast assumptions with data and insights to influence decisions
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes of discrepancies for corrective action
• Utilise Excel and planning systems to produce reports and support forecasting
• Highlight risks and support development of solutions in cross-functional reviews
• Contribute to regular planning meetings with clear findings and recommendations
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting processes and data quality
