Job summary

NHS Supply Chain is seeking a Demand Planner to join its Supply Chain Planning function. Hybrid role with two days on-site at Gradient Mill, Alfreton. Starting salary £47,874, rising to £56,322 over three years, with closing date 11 September 2026.

You will develop demand forecasts, analyze performance, and collaborate with multiple teams to drive accurate planning and continuous improvement. The role offers extensive development opportunities within the NHS framework.

Qualifications

• Experience with demand planning processes and forecasting accuracy improvements.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with ability to interpret data insights.
• Excellent communication to influence stakeholders and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market trends.
• Analyse forecast performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Collect and validate data from multiple sources to ensure forecasting system integrity.
• Collaborate with Category Managers and Supply Planning teams to build consensus forecasts.
• Produce actionable reports and drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
