Job summary

VIQU IT is recruiting a Delivery Manager in Cardiff for a hybrid role (2-3 days on-site). You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of bespoke systems, manage testing cycles and UAT, and coordinate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with user and business requirements.

The ideal candidate has proven delivery management experience in IT environments, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to drive projects through development, testing and implementation,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project or delivery management, ideally within technical or IT-focused environments.
• Experience overseeing system development, software delivery or technical testing cycles.
• Understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and the wider system testing lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate technical teams and business users.
• Experience managing project plans, risks, timelines and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of technical projects involving development and testing of bespoke systems.
• Oversee testing cycles, ensuring activities are planned, coordinated and completed effectively.
• Work closely with development teams, testers and business stakeholders to ensure systems meet user requirements.
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring users are involved throughout the testing process.
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies and delivery milestones.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing delivery challenges.
• Coordinate implementation activities and support the successful introduction of new systems.
