Job summary

Babcock is recruiting a Project Planner for our Rosyth site, offering hybrid working with onsite presence as required. You’ll support the Type 31 programme, ensuring integrated schedules, robust planning controls, and clear reporting to drive delivery in a major defence project.

We seek candidates with strong scheduling background, experience in Primavera P6 or MS Project, and a degree-level qualification. Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory, with eligibility and the ability to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of project planning and scheduling principles.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Understanding of the full project lifecycle within complex programmes.
• Experience in project planning/controls environment.
• Ability to communicate planning data to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using recognised planning methodologies.
• Analyse project performance, progress, risks and critical path activities.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers and delivery teams to provide planning insight and expertise.
• Producing reports, forecasts and planning data to support informed decision-making across the programme.
• Supporting project controls, governance activities and the wider Project Management Office function.
