Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Project Planner at the Rosyth site to support the Type 31 programme. You will develop and maintain integrated schedules, analyse progress and risks, and provide planning insights to project teams.

The role requires experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project and a degree-level qualification, with hybrid working and SC security clearance. The successful candidate will collaborate across engineering and delivery teams, generate forecasts and reports, and support governance

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent work experience demonstrating knowledge of project planning principles and practices.
• Knowledge of project planning principles, scheduling methods and network scheduling techniques.
• Experience in a project planning, project controls, scheduling or project management environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining integrated project schedules using recognised planning methodologies.
• Analysing project performance, progress, risks and critical path activities to support delivery objectives.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers and delivery teams to provide planning insight and expertise.
• Producing reports, forecasts and planning data to support informed decision-making across the programme.
• Supporting project controls, governance activities and the wider Project Management Office function.
