Job summary

Babcock International in Plymouth, Devon, is seeking a Project Planner to join our PMO and support the Capital Investment Portfolio. You will coordinate schedules and work with project managers, engineers and suppliers to keep programmes on track.

You will develop and maintain schedules, perform critical path analysis, monitor performance and support delivery across complex infrastructure projects. A strong background in planning, cost/risk management and stakeholder engagement is required, with

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling or project controls principles.
• Experience developing, maintaining and monitoring project schedules and programme plans.
• Experience coordinating activities and tracking progress across project teams.
• Understanding of how cost, risk, estimating and change management interact with project schedules.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Project and Programme Managers with project scheduling and planning activities.
• Preparing and delivering schedule-related reports, data and project performance information.
• Maintaining project schedules and ensuring alignment between programme plans and project costs.
• Assisting with critical path analysis, schedule variance reporting and annual spend forecasting.
• Collaborating with engineering, construction, commercial and supply chain teams to support project delivery.
