Optima Health (OH&W) invites applications for a Day1 Occupational Health Nurse in Glasgow, operating on a hybrid model with home-based work and occasional office attendance after training. The role emphasizes early absence management, compassionate clinical assessments, and guidance to support attendance and wellbeing.

The successful nurse will join a supportive team, receive comprehensive Occupational Health training, and work a rota covering weekdays, weekends, and nights.

Formación

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration and valid PIN.
• Minimum of 6 months' UK-based clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
• Good IT skills with electronic case management systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work a rota covering weekdays, weekends, and night shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct early absence management assessments and interventions.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls in line with Day One service requirements.
• Provide professional clinical advice regarding health, wellbeing, absence management, and fitness for work.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and maintain confidential health records.
• Build positive relationships with employees, managers, and clients through effective communication and support.
• Contribute to clinical governance, service quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service while maintaining professional clinical standards.
