Job summary

Macmillan Cancer Support is seeking a Data Product Manager to join the Technology Directorate. You will own product visions and roadmaps for data platforms, collaborating with data engineers, analysts and external partners to deliver reusable data products that enable better decisions and personalised experiences for people affected by cancer.

You’ll champion data quality, governance, privacy and responsible data use while working in a hybrid model with 1 day a month in the office across London,

Qualifications

• Experienced product manager for data products or data platforms through discovery, delivery, adoption and continuous improvement.
• Curious, collaborative, able to explore complex problems and bring people together around solutions.
• Confident with data and technology, understanding data pipelines, modelling, APIs, integrations, metadata, lineage and access controls.
• Strong data product thinker who creates reusable data products rather than one-off requests.
• Evidence and outcome focused, using insight and data to prioritise work and demonstrate value.

Responsibilities

• Own product visions and roadmaps, and set success measures for data products.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts and partners to deliver usable and trusted data platforms.
• Champion responsible data use, embedding governance, privacy and security principles from the outset.
• Develop reusable data products and capabilities to deliver personalised experiences and better decision making.
