Job summary

Macmillan Cancer Support is seeking a Data Product Manager to lead data product development within the Technology Directorate. You will own visions and roadmaps for data products, collaborating with data engineers, architects and analysts to deliver reusable capabilities that improve decision-making and impact.

The role is hybrid, with a mix of home working and one day per month in the London, Shipley or Glasgow offices.

Qualifications

• Experienced product manager for data products or data platforms.
• Curious and collaborative, able to align diverse perspectives.
• Practical understanding of data pipelines, modelling, APIs, integrations, metadata and access controls.
• Evidence-based, able to prioritise work with data to show value.
• Experienced in agile and lean delivery across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Own product visions and roadmaps for data products.
• Prioritise backlogs and work with data engineers and analysts.
• Ensure data quality, privacy, security and governance across products.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to deliver reusable data capabilities.
