Job summary

Crown Agents Bank is seeking an Associate Vice President to design, build and evolve integration solutions and cloud-native platforms. The role involves hands-on work with AWS services, Java/Spring Boot, and Terraform, combining design discussions with practical delivery across CAB's technology estate.

You will contribute to observability, data quality, and modern CI/CD practices, while mentoring engineers and embracing AI-enabled development tooling in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related STEM discipline.
• Proven track record designing, building and operating production software and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in AI coding assistants and LLMs is valued.
• Strong learning mindset and self-directed study.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve integration solutions and cloud-native components across CAB's technology estate.
• Contribute to design discussions with Data and Integration Services Lead and Architecture colleagues.
• Lead hands-on build of integrations with third-party systems and internal platforms using AWS services.
• Write production-quality code and build infrastructure hands-on with the team.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into practical technical designs.
• Define infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitHub Actions.
• Establish observability and data quality standards using Dynatrace and PowerBI.
• Support and mentor less experienced engineers and analysts.
• Use AI coding assistants and evaluate new tools and approaches.
• Collaborate across engineering, data, operations and vendor teams to deliver new integrations.
