Job summary

Impactive IT in Leeds is seeking a Data & Insight Analyst to join our analytics team, focusing on customer, basket and loyalty data to drive commercial decisions.

You will translate data into clear insights, create structured slide decks with actionable recommendations, and support both tactical and strategic client initiatives while maintaining high data quality.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience working with customer data (Retail or FMCG experience highly desirable).
• Hands-on experience extracting, manipulating, and working with large datasets.
• A proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• A self-motivated approach with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and wider teams.

Impactive are delighted to be continuing our exclusive partnership with a fast-growing, data & AI consultancy based in Leeds, who are looking to hire a Data & Insight Analyst to join their expanding analytics team.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with customer, basket, and loyalty data to deliver high-impact insights that directly shape commercial and strategic decisions for clients.

You will have:

• 1-3 years’ experience working with customer data (Retail or FMCG experience highly desirable)

Desired skills & experience:

• Strong coding skills in SQL (essential), Python (desirable) with solid MS Excel capabilities.
• Ability to extract data, generate insights, and present findings clearly in structured presentations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
