Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Mechanical Director to lead our Data Centre CA team in the UK and across EMEA. You will drive technical delivery, work winning, client management and team development for hyperscale and co-location projects.

The role emphasizes leadership of multi-disciplinary design during construction, interface with AHJs and GCs, and delivering consistent, high-quality mechanical and electrical services across projects. Hybrid work options apply.

Qualifications

• Strong background delivering Mechanical or Electrical project work in Data Centres and Mission Critical Environments.
• Proven experience leading DC project work streams in UK and across EMEA.
• Demonstrable client facing and work-winning experience.
• Excellent team leadership and development capability.
• Detailed knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical design and interface with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the growing Data Centre CA team.
• Provide CA services across multiple disciplines and interface with GCs and AHJs.
• Manage multi-discipline design services during construction to accommodate changes.
• Ensure deliverables are fully developed and meet client needs.
• Support Work Winning and Business Development with a strong pipeline.
