Job summary

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) in London is seeking a Data Business Analyst to join the team on a permanent, hybrid basis. You will engage with senior stakeholders in the Client Group to drive data and business analysis for major initiatives and ensure accurate reporting across data platforms.

You will gather requirements, translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria, and contribute to solution design with data governance, architecture and testing teams.

Qualifications

• Experienced Business Analyst with asset management knowledge.
• Proven track record in business and data modelling and process design.
• Experience in agile/scrum with successful delivery.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and SQL-powered analysis.
• Ability to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborates with architects, data governance and data management.
• Experience testing product/solution designs and operating models.
• Excellent communication of complex data solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive business and data analysis for Client Group initiatives and complex change.
• Gather, understand and document requirements; translate into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate data requirements and reporting.
• Identify barriers to transformation and prioritise backlog items.
• Contribute to solution design focusing on people, process, technology, risks and controls.
• Engagement, reviews and testing with developers, testers, architects and business users
• Pro‑active resolution of issues and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Understand data models across systems and platforms.
• Work in a scrum team, using agile methodologies with client group and data teams.
