Job summary

Norton Blake is seeking a Data Analyst for South West London on a hybrid basis (2/3 days per week) with a salary of £65,000–£75,000 per year. You will work across financial, operational, tech and stock data to enable smarter decisions, building data models and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.

You’ll contribute across the full data stack and grow into broader ownership over time. You will write SQL models, support data pipelines, and build Looker dashboards, translating business

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing complex SQL to query, transform and model data across cloud platforms.
• Experience building and maintaining data models in Dataform or similar tools (Snowflake, DBT).
• Experience building reports and dashboards in Looker or similar BI tools.
• Strong git workflow experience including branching, PRs and code reviews.
• Ability to translate business requests into clearly scoped analytics work and deliverables.
• Knowledge of data quality techniques, testing and documenting data models and lineage.
• Understanding of data governance and responsible AI/data use considerations.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain SQL models to transform and serve reliable data across pipelines.
• Support design, building and testing of data pipelines in collaboration with data engineers.
• Build and refine cloud dashboards and reports for self-serve business insight.
• Translate business questions into well-scoped analyses and communicate findings clearly.
• Peer review colleagues' work and contribute to data quality standards and docs.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual data tasks and implement improvements.
