Intact Insurance is recruiting a Cyber Engineering Specialist to lead security engineering guidance across projects, programmes and changes. You will translate security requirements into deliverable actions and coordinate specialists to align with project needs.

The role covers infrastructure, cloud, platforms, identity, and network domains, ensuring practical, secure delivery and effective control adoption. This is a permanent, hybrid role within a collaborative Cyber Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of cyber security engineering principles and secure operational practices.
• Ability to translate requirements into actionable engineering outcomes.
• Experience advising on solution design, options, sequencing and risk.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and regulatory expectations (e.g., NIST, CIS).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert cyber engineering advice to projects and programmes.
• Review proposed solutions to identify cyber engineering requirements and risks.
• Translate standards into actionable guidance for delivery teams.
• Coordinate cyber engineering resources across multiple technical teams.
• Support implementation of cyber controls across infrastructure, cloud, and networks.
