Job summary

Equans is seeking a Customer Liaison Officer in Leeds on a permanent, full-time basis. The role focuses on maintaining clear communication between Equans and residents during construction and maintenance projects, ensuring residents are informed and supported throughout the lifecycle.

You will manage the resident journey, build relationships with stakeholders, organise consultation events, inductions, and access arrangements, and provide practical support such as packing materials and storage.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous resident liaison experience within the construction / social housing sector.
• Basic understanding of construction and social housing.
• Familiarisation with GDPR regulations.
• Computer literate in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication between Equans and residents during construction, regeneration or maintenance projects.
• Manage the customer/resident journey following engagement procedures.
• Develop relationships with residents, clients, subcontractors, site-based personnel, local stakeholders and the Customer Care Department.
• Carry out choice events, consultation events and individual consultations with residents regarding future work.
• Carry out resident inductions including introduction to Equans, CLO/RLO process and scope of works, with evidence from photographs.
• Agree access arrangements with residents and book appointments to enable work.
• Organise and provide support such as packing boxes, dust sheets, storage and other facilities.
