Willow Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a hybrid role based in Leeds City Centre. You will own your portfolio, drive end-to-end credit control, chase invoices, and resolve payment queries within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end credit control.
• Experience managing a ledger or portfolio of accounts.
• Experience with high-value or high-volume accounts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and the full end-to-end credit control process.
• Chase outstanding invoices by telephone and email.
• Build strong professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries.
• Post and allocate customer payments accurately.
• Produce invoices and customer statements.
• Review aged debt and provide detailed commentary.
• Complete bank reconciliations and support cash allocation.
• Work with internal teams to resolve account and payment queries.
• Monitor outstanding balances and minimise aged debt.
• Work to deadlines, targets and service levels.
• Support the wider finance team during busy periods, including month-end.
