Job summary

Morson Edge in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a 6-month fixed-term assignment within an aerospace and defence client. The role combines Credit Control and Accounts Receivable, with a hybrid pattern requiring three days on site.

You will monitor aged debt, chase overdue invoices, perform credit checks, maintain ERP data, and provide regular management reporting. Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP/SAGE are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable required.
• Ability to assess credit risk and perform collections effectively.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation and financial data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor aged debtor balances and overdue accounts.
• Chase payments and issue reminders and statements.
• Conduct credit checks and assess new customer credit applications.
• Maintain ERP customer master data and support AR processes.
• Prepare aged debt and collections reporting for management.
• Assist with month-end AR reconciliations and cash allocations.
