Job summary

Confidential in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Credit Controller on a 6-month contract with hybrid working (3 days on site). The role combines credit control and accounts receivable to safeguard cash flow.

You will manage customer credit accounts, perform credit checks, issue reminders, reconcile ledgers, and provide regular debt reporting to management. AAT or ERP experience and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment.
• Experience with SAP or SAGE ERP systems.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor aged debtor balances and overdue accounts.
• Proactively chase customers and issue reminders.
• Prepare and review aged debt and cash flow reports.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing queries.
• Assist with month-end accounts receivable reconciliation.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain data accuracy.
