Industrial Light & Magic (ILM London) seeks a Creature TD to set up and run flesh-surface, hair, cloth, and muscle simulations. You will also wrangle rigging and creature pipeline issues under supervision in a hybrid work setup with on-site days.

Proficiency in Houdini or Maya; strong Linux and Python scripting; experience with C++, MEL, VEX, Unreal or similar is a plus. A background in anatomy-focused sculpting and collaboration will help you excel in this studio environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in high-end VFX or animated features.
• Experience with cloth/hair/flesh simulation in Houdini and/or rigging in Maya.
• Feature Film experience required.
• Proficiency in Linux and Python scripting.
• Experience in corrective sculpting and an understanding of anatomy.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills and a growth mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Simulate shots and sequences.
• Create simulation setups for cloth, hair, and muscle.
• Develop and maintain animation rigs.
• Debug and troubleshoot rigs, simulation setups and shots.
• Script utilities/tools/plug-ins in various software packages
• Document and share workflows and work as part of a team.
