Job summary

ILM in London seeks a Creature TD to set up and run flesh-surface, hair, cloth, and rigid body simulations, and to wrangle creature pipeline issues under supervisor guidance.

The role involves simulating shots, building cloth/hair/flesh rigs, and scripting utilities, with on-site and occasional remote work in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-end VFX or animated features.
• Experience with cloth/hair/flesh simulation in Houdini and/or rigging in Maya.
• Feature Film experience required.
• Proficiency in Linux and Python scripting.
• Experience in corrective sculpting and an understanding of anatomy.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills and a growth mindset.
• Experience with C++, MEL, VEX, Unreal or other 3D software an advantage.
