Job summary

RBS in the East Midlands is seeking an Assistant Relationship Director focused on corporate banking. You will build relationships with existing and prospective customers, book appointments, and prepare well-researched collateral for meetings, with hybrid work between client sites and our Nottingham office.

You’ll drive outreach, use strategy planning tools, and develop shadow portfolios while seeking lending opportunities and delivering customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of corporate banking, including related systems, processes and products.
• Ability to work with limited supervision on routine banking tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to prepare high-quality pitch documents and derive insights for customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with services and sales portfolio administration, focusing on attracting new customers.
• Identify opportunities to benefit customers and prospects with products and services.
• Act as a point of contact for other teams and maintain a positive presence in the bank.
• Develop and manage shadow portfolios and customer referrals.
• Demonstrate effective use of contact and strategy planning tools.
• Maintain an entrepreneurial attitude with all customers.
