Aztec Services (Guernsey) Limited is seeking an assistant accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will assist with routine day-to-day accounting and administration for SPVs within fund structures.

You will handle bookkeeping, accounts prep, ad hoc reporting, liaise with clients, and help with audit queries and secretarial filings, while mentoring Trainee Accountants and maintaining strong client relationships in a hybrid working environment.

Qualificações

• 1+ year experience in financial services preferred.
• Progress towards ACCA Fundamentals or ACA Professional level.
• Solid accounting knowledge and training provided.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
• Full Guernsey work rights required.

Responsabilidades

• Handle routine bookkeeping for corporate entities and trusts.
• Prepare interim and annual accounts and ad hoc reports.
• Assist with audit queries and company secretarial filings.
• Mentor Trainee Accountants and support junior staff.
• Build and maintain client relationships with accuracy.
• Maintain client records in Viewpoint and other systems.
• Perform general office and clerical tasks as needed.
