Job summary

Automation Experts is seeking a Controls Engineer to design and implement control systems and develop HMI/SCADA solutions for client projects. The role requires experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or Schneider PLCs and the ability to interpret P&IDs.

Based in Nottinghamshire with flexible hybrid working, the position offers £35,000–£50,000 DOE plus a £4k car allowance and performance bonus. Applicants should reside within commutable distance of Nottingham, Leicester or Derby.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in PLC/Controls engineering.
• Proficiency with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or Schneider PLCs.
• Strong skills in HMI/SCADA systems.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID's.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

The Role

• Located in Nottinghamshire, this role would be commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and can be highly hybrid with the majority of time either work from home or up to 40% at client site across the East of England with monthly meetings at head office in Nottinghamshire.
