Job summary

Rolls-Royce CWS is seeking a Control Systems Verification Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Bristol, with a hybrid working arrangement. The role focuses on creating verification strategies, allocating test requirements, and analysing control system behavior to ensure design conformance to high-level requirements.

You will execute tests, document results, and provide verdicts, engaging with customers and suppliers to support system releases.

Qualifications

Experience in systems verification and test strategy development.
Familiar with ARP4754 verification objectives, verification vehicles and controls design.
Active security clearance (SC).
Willing to work via Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.

Responsibilities

Create approved requirement verification strategies that demonstrate system requirements via the most suitable verification method or methods.
Allocate control system requirements to test vehicles defined in the verification plan.
Analyse the control system for functional behaviour, including modelling and simulation, to verify design meets high-level requirements.
Execute control system tests on the test platform and document verification evidence and system configuration.
Analyse verification test results against control system requirements and provide a valid verdict.
Engage with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver verification work products for system releases.
