Job summary

Canterbury City Council is seeking a Contracts Officer (Assets) to manage end-to-end external contracts within the Facilities Management portfolio in Canterbury, Kent. The role blends home-based work with site visits and council offices as needed.

You will oversee budget control, delivery plans, and performance analysis for key contracts, including tendering and ensuring legal compliance under housing and construction regulations. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in end-to-end contract management within a similar field.
• Degree/Foundation Degree or Higher National Diploma in Construction/Contract/related Law.
• Member of a professional body such as CIBSE, RICS, IMechE, CIPHE or MIET.
• Full driving licence is required for this job.
